Our commitment to accuracy
The Arklavo Newsroom works to publish accurate, verified reporting. When we make a mistake, we correct it promptly and openly. This page explains how errors are reported and how we handle them.
How to report an error
If you spot an error in our coverage, email newsroom@arklavo.com. Please include:
- The title and link of the article.
- The specific statement you believe is incorrect.
- Any supporting information or sources that can help us verify the correct facts.
We review every request we receive.
How we correct errors
When we confirm an error of fact, we update the article to reflect the correct information. We add a dated correction note at the foot of the article that states what was changed. We do not quietly edit an article and leave no record of the change.
Corrections
A correction is used when an article contained a factual error, such as a wrong name, figure, date, or claim. The note explains what was wrong and what the article now says.
Clarifications
A clarification is used when an article was accurate but could be misunderstood. The note adds context or rewords a passage without changing the underlying facts.
Updates
An update is used when a developing story changes after publication. The note marks the new information and the date it was added.
Timing
We aim to review reported errors within two business days and to publish confirmed corrections as soon as the facts are verified.
