Our principles
The Arklavo Newsroom follows a clear set of ethical principles. They guide how we report, what we publish, and how we treat the people and businesses in our coverage.
Independence
The newsroom is owned and funded by Arklavo, a US custom-apparel company, and reports as an independent editorial desk. We make coverage decisions based on news value and reader usefulness, not on the commercial interests of the company. Reporting is not approved by the sales team before publication.
Separation of commerce and editorial
We keep a firm line between our journalism and the sale of products. Articles are not written to promote specific products or offers, and advertising does not influence our coverage. Where an article refers to Arklavo, we disclose that relationship plainly.
Conflicts of interest
We disclose relationships that could reasonably be seen to affect our reporting. Editors and writers do not accept gifts, payment, or favors in exchange for coverage. When a story touches Arklavo's own business, we state that connection so readers can weigh it.
Honesty
We report truthfully and represent facts as we find them. We do not fabricate quotes, sources, data, or events. We identify our sources whenever possible and give context so readers understand what a claim is based on. We treat the people and companies we cover fairly and give them a reasonable chance to respond to claims about them.
Accountability
We take responsibility for what we publish. When we make an error, we correct it openly and mark the change with a dated note. Readers can raise concerns or report mistakes at newsroom@arklavo.com, and a human editor reviews every message.
